The District One Special Election is happening tomorrow, April 8. Make a plan to vote and ensure your voice is counted in this important election.
There Are Four Ways to Vote:
Vote in Person
13 vote centers will be open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Find a vote center near you in your voter information pamphlet or online at sdvote.com.
Vote by Mail
If you received a mail-in ballot, return it by mail (no postage needed) or drop it off at any official ballot drop box.
Ballots must be postmarked by April 8 and received by April 16 to be counted.
Ballot Drop Boxes – Open Until 8 P.M. Tomorrow
29 official ballot drop boxes are available 24/7, but they close at 8 p.m. sharp on Election Day.

Vote at the Registrar’s Office
The Registrar of Voters office in Kearny Mesa is open for early voting today from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be open tomorrow from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The elected candidate will serve through January 2029. If no candidate secures a majority on April 8, a special general election will be held on July 1.
