SCPG to Vote Tuesday on Construction/Installation of Pathways and Adding 3-Way Stops




The Sweetwater Community Planning Group will meet Tuesday, March 4th at 7:00 PM. This meeting will be at their regular location at the Bonita-Sunnyside Fire Station, 4900 Bonita Rd., Bonita CA.

This is the opportunity for members of the public to speak to the Planning Group on any subject within the Planning Group’s purview, but not on the agenda. Presentations are limited to three minutes. No action can be taken on items not on the published agenda, but can be added to future agendas for action. Speakers must be recognized by the Chair before talking.

7. Department of Public Works Request to Identify and Prioritize a List of CIP and Maintenance Projects by March 30, 2025. SCPG Chair, Felix Felix, presenting.

a. Construction of a pathway on Bonita Road, from Siembre Street to Frisbie Street

b. Construction of a pathway alongside Acacia Avenue

c. Installation of a crosswalk and warning lights, where Dory Lane meets Bonita Road

d. Construction of a pathway alongside Frisbie Street

e. Installation of a left turning lane on Sweetwater Road, onto Margaret Street

f. Reconfigure Proctor Valley Road, from San Miguel Road to San Miguel Ranch Road, to include reinforcing bridge and adding 3-way stops at Jonel Way and Bonita Meadows Lane
