Approximately 4,500 are still outstanding for the First Supervisorial District Special Primary Election. Hopefully all will be counted by the end of today.
Only 16.7% of the registered voters showed up to vote.
As of right now, Mayor John McCann has the lead with 42.95% with Mayor Aguirre trailing him with 31.96%. But with most the votes counted, it looks like John McCann and Paloma Aguirre will have another race to run.

The other candidates—Moreno, Chavez, Fuentes, Efird and Pickard—received less than 14% of the vote and kept both McCann and Aguirre from achieving the 50% that was needed to win in the first round.
Tune in on Monday for the final winner.
