Green Friday 2024

Join us beginning Friday, Nov. 29 for Green Friday – a celebration of all-things-parks at County facilities across the region. Thanksgiving weekend is the perfect time to experience the outdoors in new ways while friends and family are in town.

We’re hosting an exciting mix of activities, from educational programs and ‘Story Trails’ to ranger-led hikes and bike rides. Volunteer park beautification and tree planting events provide more ways to have fun while giving back and getting your hands dirty.

Why spend the day indoors or on a mobile device – shopping – when that time could be spent on a trail, at a lake, in an amphitheater or under a gazebo?
