Georgeanne Irvine From San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance Presents at Bonita Optimist Club

We hope you were at last Thursday evening’s meeting because it was absolutely wonderful!!! Our speaker, Georgeanne Irvine was on her “game” and was excited to share the success of saving many animals, including the condors.
Her stories were vivid and exciting about the sloth, the baby koala, the orangutan and others!!
To top it off, Georgeanne and Pam Fein brought beautiful bags from the SD Zoo and SD Safari Park along with several stuffed animals!! Our youngest Kiwanis guest won many of the raffle prizes.
Our turnout was fabulous! I believe we had 45 people attending. Eating, laughing and getting to know one another!!
The Optimist TEAM again pulled everything together making it a great evening for all . . . including locating the propane tanks.
