Community Forum to Discuss Floating Solar Panels on Sweetwater Reservoir . . . Good Idea or Not?

This is a current view of the Sweetwater Reservoir. Sweetwater Authority has a plan to change this look.

Sweetwater Authority is proposing to add 200 acres of floating solar panels on top of the Sweetwater Reservoir in its long-term plan.

The forum is this upcoming Monday—December 2nd— at the Sweetwater Community Church, located at 5305 Sweetwater Road in Bonita. The church is directly across from the Pinery Christmas Tree Lot. The forum begins at 5PM and everyone is invited to attend and share your thoughts on this topic.
