BVGC Welcomes 17 New Members

Bonita Valley Garden Club held a New Members' Tea at the home of Susan Heavilin, BVGC Second Vice President (Membership). This is the first New Members' Tea held since Covid hit in 2020.


A delightful time was had by all as new members and BVGC Board, Committee Chairs and Member Sponsors bonded with good food and new friendships.


17 New Members Join BVGC


The 2024-2025 year welcomed 17 members to the Bonita Valley Garden Club who were celebrated at the tea. New members this past year were: Lynda Adams, Suzanne Mathews, Lynn Williams, Luis De La Rosa, Robin Leon, Kaylah Rasmusson, Catalina Aguilar, Alana Hurd, Gina Enriquez, Gloria McIntosh, Guadalupe Gaieck, Jackie Metcalf, Jeanina Manley. Josie Scott, Karen Wuberhoarst, Kathy Waggoner and Lori Starr.

All About BVGC


The Bonita Valley Garden Club brings individuals together who care about nature, gardening, floral design, and conservation. These interests are met by presenting educational speakers, floral design competitions, gardening workshops, and environmental stewardship activities, all in a nurturing atmosphere of shared community and purpose.
We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization that holds several annual fundraising events with the purpose of awarding scholarships at local community colleges each year. —Bonita Valley Garden Club website
