Bonita Valley Country Club Eucalyptus Trees

Carroll Mohr and Gordon Pettit survey the 500 eucalyptus trees delivered to the new Bonita Valley Country Club fairways, waiting to be planted. Mohr was an interim manager of the club and was a member of the development consulting firm. Gordon Pettit helped to spearhead creating the golf course, the country club, the Bonita Village Shopping Center, and Bonita Verde Estates.

The new golf course, with its series of small lakes and its verdant fairways line with young trees, is perhaps as much responsible for the current surge of Bonita development as any other one factor.

Homes along the bordering hills, including the dwellings in the new subdivisions, have an overlook of the golf course. Other proposed residential developments will border the fairways and greens.
