News from San Diego Rescue Mission!! Their next guest speaker on February 27th is Paloma Aguirre, Mayor of Imperial Beach. All of you are invited to the luncheon for only $15.

I'm exited to share a heartwarming update of what your caring support has done for one family and invite you to join us at our luncheon next week - furthermore, it would so wonderful if you wanted to extend this invite to the Bonita Optimist Club.

I’d like to introduce you to Nekaiya and her lovely family. Just one year ago, she was living out of her car with her daughters when she found her way to Mission Academy. She chose to do our accelerated program and successfully graduated last fall. Today, she is employed, living in her own apartment and has continued to stay connected with us through our Alumni program, which she relies on for encouragement, to give back, and to receive support as she faces challenges.

For instance, when her car transmission failed, she turned to us, and we were able to offer guidance. We're excited to share that the costs of her car repair have been generously covered, AND she just reported to us that she is now receiving income to care for her special needs daughter! On top of that, she’s advancing through the interview process for her dream job at a local Congressman's office!

Nekaiya credits all her progress to God and the support she’s received from us here at SDRM—this includes you, Vicki and Timothy! We couldn’t do this important work without faithful supporters like you. Please keep her in your prayers as she prepares for her upcoming interview.

Additionally, I would love for you two to join us for our next Huddle Luncheon on Thursday, February 27th at 12pm at our South County Lighthouse.
